 - SEmergency Response Planning:

The Emergency Response Plan is essentially a risk management tool that will consider likely scenarios and address prevention, preparedness, response and recovery considerations, including measures to be used to notify members of the public who could be adversely affected.

Emergency Response plans must be updated and tested annually. Industrial facilities using dangerous substances in particular should have plans in place to prevent accidents, and to respond quickly and effectively to protect the environment and the health of employees and the public in the event of an accident, vandalism or terrorist attack.
